Compared to most campground sites Mitziville is a nice private spot. The quiet river makes a beautiful view and I appreciated the free kayak available with the site. Check in was easy and very friendly. There is a public area beside the site which meant there are occasionally people new by but, it wasn't a problem. At other time was very quiet.

We loved camping at Mitziville's land. It was our second time this Summer. The camp sites are big enough for 2,3 tents. Our kids love the beach and water activities (kayaks, paddle boats included). There is also nice trails for hiking, shower on site. About 30 min away from Huntsville... I definitely recommend this spot and we'll be back.
